What this is doing

The database is Acme Legal & Accounting’s matter system for the last twenty-four months: every hour the nine timekeepers recorded, every invoice, every payment, and every write-down a partner approved. Invented, and generated from the same rate card and billing cycle the other demos use.

Your question goes to the model with the data dictionary — table and column descriptions, and nothing about what the data shows.
It explores by writing SQL. Every query passes a guard first: one read-only SELECT, only the tables the dictionary names, capped rows. Anything else is refused and the model is told why.
It answers by calling chart tools, each carrying its own query. The server runs that query and renders the values, so no number on the page was typed by a model.
